About Cat-Ears / AirStreamz

As avid cyclists, we found the frequent and sometimes constant drone of wind noise annoying and potentially dangerous.  Wind noise masks surrounding sounds and at moderate speeds can exceed 85 decibels.  Longer-term exposure to excessive wind noise can impact hearing.  As a result, we started investigating solutions to reduce wind noise.  After considerable 'trial and error' testing, we introduced the first generation of Cat-Ears products in 2012.

  About the Cat-Ears name...

Cats are known for excellent hearing.

Even under the windiest of conditions.

"Nature is the source of all knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity."
