Cat-Ears were introduced during 2012, Windscreens in 2014, AirStreamz in 2016, and AirStreamz Slim in 2018.
We have designed and manufactured products for hearing aid users, smaller microphones, sport action cameras, open cockpit helicopter headsets, outdoor nature-scape mics, etc. We have provided Oracle Team USA - Americas Cup and the U.S. Geological Survey with our highly effective products. Our custom re-branded products have been demonstrated at the Audio Engineering Society Convention and are available from our partners and at stores like B&H Photo. In addition, we have performed 'flow analysis' consulting work for a major technology company.
Our products have been included in thesis work related to wind noise reduction at Brandenburgische Technische Universität (Germany). The pile based materials we use have been independently tested for acoustic transparency and wind noise reduction effectiveness at Antioch University (NH). We welcome cooperative wind noise reduction development opportunities, and, as noted above, we provide flow / wind noise related consulting services.
Understanding the physics behind wind noise is important for successful new product development.
At Cat-Ears, we imagine, solve, design, and lead. Always with unyielding integrity.
